Infield introduces new high-performance anti-fog coating
Infield research into the eyewear needs of high-performance athletes and sports enthusiasts in demanding environments has resulted in the launch of Anti-fog Plus. This new lens coating promises to be a new dimension in visual clarity as it is more effective and more durable than traditional coatings. The key benefit for sports enthusiasts is that vision will be clearer and misting greatly reduced in hot conditions. The coating is also highly durable – being exceptionally resistant to impact damage and rain or sweat.
Key benefits of our new Anti-fog Plus lenses:
* Excellent scratch resistance and water proof anti-fog performance
* Increase PC substrate light transmission from 88-89% up to 90-91% that make the visor crystal clear and shiny
* High refractive index (> 1.53) reduce rainbow like refraction on the lenses and enhances esthetic appeal
Anti-fog Plus and will available on selected new products in our sports and retail range – including the new Endor and Spidor.
The new level of anti-misting performance provided by Anti-fog Plus will also be of great interest in the work environment. Fogging is often a problem in moving from inside to outdoors, as well as when working in warm working environments. The new lens will be available for Terminator.
