Materials
Sportline lenses are made from Grade 1 optical quality polycarbonate and are designed to exceed exacting safety standards. In independent testing Sportline lenses have exceeded EN impact testing standards (EN 166F) and withstood the impact of a ball bearing fired at over 85 mph without shattering.
Most Sportline lenses exceed EN166F safety standards to provide ultimate eye protection against impact damage.
NB Polarized lenses give enhanced glare protection - but are not EN certified against impact damage.
